THE TWINS
HUGHES AND HOUSTON MOREHEAD
(THREESCORE)

Sometimes, I long for days of your,
When you and I were barely four;
In small world, we'd live again,
And dream of being famous men.
We'd once again hear Mother sing,
Ad hear hr tell of David's sling;
She tucked us in our bed each night,
And referee our pillow fights.
There was a dozen in our brood,
I had hoped to build a 'neighborhood' -
A famous doctor I would be -
And strive to make you proud of me.
Each morning, when we proud of me.
Each morning, when we broke our fast,
I feared the biscuits, wouldn't last;
I'd always slip an extra spare,
And hide it by my favorite chair.
When you were sick and lay abed -
My childish hear at, was filled with dread;
I could not bear to leave your side,
So books and school, were cast aside.
Again when illness, came your way,
I ran for Uncle Dan to pray;
I never shall forget that hour,
When you were touched, by holy power.
When you left home for Bible school,
I practiced now - The Golden Rule -
To let you stay the whole year thru,
I prayed and sent some shekels, too.
Your milestone now has reached three-score,
I hope that you have many more;
My love, for you, is like no other,
Because you are my Twin and Brother.

***Hughes Morehead is 'Grandma' Morehead's husband.
He is called Grandpa Morehead. Both Grandma and
Grandpa Morehead have passed on to the Lord. They were
