A Note from Sara Da'Tana - a Tuxedo Cat.

For those of us who are animal lovers -especially domesticated animals - cats in this case, it is as painful as losing a child. These animals become part of our family. Cats and dogs will give people unconditional love. They don't really ask for a lot in return. They are happy being taken care of - fed, having warm shelter, and loved by their 'owners'. Over the course of my Meowmie's live, she has had several cats, and they are like her children. Losing one is devastating to say the least. Many thanks to Lorraine, "Teddy-Tu's Meowmie" for allowing us to pay tribute on our web site to a baby kitty that was very much loved!!

A Poem For All Who Have Lost A Loved One

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there I do not sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.

I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.

I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am the birds that sing
I am in each gentle thing.

Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
